Description:

- Requires a highly motivated and pro-active individual with Overall IT experience of at least 8 years who can independently design, develop, document and execute detailed test cases.

- Telecom domain knowledge with a broader understanding & automation experience of Mobile/Set-top boxes/Customer Premises Equipment.

- Experience in Black Box/Functional & Systems Integration testing and or Quality Assurance.

Qualifications:

Candidate must have a Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

Skills:

- 8+ years of experience in application development or functional automation with HP Quick Test Pro.

- Experience with the automation of Set-top Boxes, handheld devices on Brew/BlackBerry/Windows Mobile platforms, Android and consumer electronic devices.

- Knowledge with TCP/IP and networking protocols used in video transmission/streaming over IP network; HTTP/RTSP/RTP/RTMP.

- Extensive knowledge with video technologies; MPEG2/4 transport streams.

- Familiar with Operating Systems like Unix & Linux.

- 3+ years of demonstrated software design and development experience involving Web Portal and web services test automation using test tools (eg FlexBuilder, Selenium, Sikuli, Java, Jython, JUnit etc...) and related testing practices is highly desired.

- 3+ years of hands-on programming skills in at least one programming and one Scripting language , FLASH, Adobe-Flex, AIR, XML.

- 2+ years of experience in system testing of voice, video or data products.

- Indepth knowledge on broadband wireless network technologies such as WiiFi, 3G, and 4G is a plus.

- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism with effective oral and written communication skills.

- Capacity to work under minimal supervision.
